Great dishwasher, almost perfect

Long time owner of Bosch dishwashers, have had many of them over the years. This unit is a fairly decent upgrade over our 8 year old Serie 8 which is still running strong, but left plastics wet which became a problem for us with all the kids bowls. This new one with Zeolith does a superb job cleaning everything we throw in it, and the Zeolith was absolutely worth it as plastic items either dry completely or only have minor residue left rather than needing to be manually dried. The only criticism I would have is that as a Serie 8 some things feel like a downgrade. While the Zeolith and home connect are great, the overall experience feels more like a Serie 6. Gone are the high quality LCD screen that clearly displayed what the dishwasher was doing, also absent is the interior light that made it easier to see what was happening. The change in screen and controls makes it harder to set a timer as you only have a traditional basic display and rather than setting the exact time that the dishwasher starts and clearly see when it ends, you only get a hours until display. While a lot of the extra is available in the home connect app, it makes it harder for guests who may want to use the dishwasher. Overall, solid upgrade for the job of washing dishes, but miss the premium nature of the Serie 8.

Driest dishwasher ever!

I didn’t think I’d ever get excited about how dry a dishwasher could be, but here we are. This Bosch dishwasher actually delivers. Thanks to the auto‑open at the end of the cycle, everything comes out properly dry - even plastics. No more wiping down containers or leaving things on the bench for later. The real win is the little bits such as upside‑down cups that usually hide a puddle? Dry. Lids that normally trap water? Dry. I just unload and put things straight away, which honestly feels life‑changing! Whatever Bosch is doing with their drying tech just works, and it works quietly without cooking the dishes. It’s one of those appliances you don’t think about much - except when you realise you’re no longer shaking water out of cups like a madman. If dry dishes matter to you, this one absolutely nails it.

Quiet Powerhouse in the Kitchen

I’ve been really happy with the Bosch Series 8 fully integrated dishwasher so far. It works extremely well, with consistently clean dishes, sparkling glasses and very effective drying, even on the eco settings. Heavily soiled pots and pans also come out spotless without needing to pre-wash. One of the biggest positives is how quiet it is. Once it’s running, you barely notice it – which is perfect for open-plan living or running it at night. Because it’s fully integrated, it looks great in the kitchen. The VarioHinge design means the door lines up neatly with the cabinetry, and the controls are hidden on the top edge of the door, giving a clean, seamless look. Overall, this Bosch dishwasher is a great combination of performance, quiet operation and sleek design. I’d happily recommend it.
