Proudly supporting Ronald McDonald Houses for over 20 years

A helping hand when it's needed most.

Dedicated to helping seriously ill children and their families, Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia (RMHC) has provided help to over 100,000 families.

The cornerstone program of RMHC, Ronald McDonald House, helps seriously ill children and their families when they need it most.

Ronald McDonald Houses are located near women’s and children’s hospitals and provide a 'home away from home' for seriously ill children and their families. As many as 300 families per night, or 6,000 families per year, make 14 Ronald McDonald Houses their ‘home away from home’.

Each House is administered by an independent board (made up of McDonald’s, hospital and community representatives) with staff and big-hearted volunteers who manage the day-to-day operations. The support of communities is vitally important to ensuring every Ronald McDonald House can keep its doors open 365 days a year.

Bosch has been proudly supporting RMHC for over 20 years. In 2012 Bosch was proud to be inducted into the Ronald McDonald House Charities® Donor Hall of Fame. The 20-year partnership with the Charity has seen Bosch donate over $350 000 worth of household appliances to several Ronald McDonald Houses nationally, including houses in Westmead (NSW), Monash (VIC) Townsville (QLD) and Canberra (ACT). “Ensuring these Houses are equipped with modern, easy to use appliances is our small way of contributing.”

In 2013, Bosch will work to drive engagement programs that will continue to strengthen the relationship, but moreover, create awareness of the long-standing partnership. There are several initiatives that will aid in the promotion of the Charity, as well as further cement the commitment from Bosch.
